In the Colli Euganei Regional Park, whose beauty and quietness has inspired poets like Francesco Petrarca, Ugo Foscolo, George Gordon Byron, and Percy Bysshe Shelley, the Bed and Breakfast "Belvedere" house is surrounded by the green and orchards. Close to the historical center of Este, the house offers a beautiful view onto the walls and twelve towers of the medieval Carraresi castle and is at 10-minute walking distance from the old town through the suggestive "sentiero del Palazzo del Principe" (Prince's Palace path). Among the monuments which testify Este's ancient origin and long-standing civilization, we consider worth a visit: the Atheste National Museum, an important center for the preservation and study of Paleoveneta civilization relics, the several churches and abbeys - among them, the Abbey Church of Santa Tecla which houses a great altar painting by G.B. Tiepolo, and the many enjoyable spots and corners of the old town.
Although recently restructured, the Bed and Breakfast Belvedere's original 16th century structure has been beautifully preserved and offers one double room with private bathroom and one room with two single beds and adjacent bathroom, access to the garden and breakfast served in the family's living room. A parking area is also available, as well the use of the family's bicycles.
